A Bosom for a Pillow
Not all desires are illicit or harmful. Some are rather
innocent and sweet. Could you love it when your dog
kisses your face…

or when your cat cuddles you?

What are some of your favorite, innocent pleasures?

I recently heard an “Indy” song…

with the line…

One of my favorite “
G-rated”…

activities with a Tantric partner is to simply sit on a sofa,
and watch a DVD while resting the side of my head upon
her thigh, as if it was a pillow.

Sometimes I really start to “jones” for this and when I get
to do it, it feels deeply satisfying.

Other times I don’t get to. There are times when I am in
between Tantric partners or it’s simply a time and place
where the whole: sitting-on-the-Sofa-watching-a-DVD-
while-using-a-thigh-as-a-pillow thing is just
not possible.
So to quote the Rolling Stones…

Lately I’ve simply been pushing myself far too hard. And
as my fatigue has been building my desire for this
innocent comfort as been steadily increasing. But since
I’m between Tantric-partners at this time there is simply…

Have your innocent and deeply felt needs ever gone
un-
met? What are we to do with the frustration?

Today I brought my frustrated “Lap-jones” into the path of
the “
Sutric Questions.” They are a series of 11 mental-
yogas or contemplative exercises that are found in “
Quick
Path to Happy Peace
;” the Buddhist prayer book and
guided mediation resource who’s
latest version is sent to
each member of my mailing list for FREE, on the 1st of
every month.

I did NOT practice with the intention of completely
destroying…

my desire for this wholesome comfort. Nope, my intention
was a bit different.

Desire, especial frustrated desire, can be a dynamically
energetic phenomena.

So
rather than simply get rid of all that energy, I wanted to
harness it...

and apply it to my spiritual journey so that I could progress
even further upon Buddhas paths of:
•        devotion,
•        awareness,
•        love and
•        letting-go

that lead to far greater:
•        bliss,
•        peace,
•        wisdom and
•        happiness.

The instructions for these 11 exercises can be found in the
lesson “
Buddha’s Lost Secrets.”

But what could this have to do with…

Buddha’s exact plan to ensure a satisfying and beautiful
life? Those are exactly the life changing questions I
answer for you in this month’s lesson “
The Meaning of
Life” so reserve your lesson now, while it’s still being
