#1 Read this essay before our first class.

#2
Download two images of "Lama Chenrezig"; one sized for an 8 x 10 frame and
  the other for a 4 x 6 frame.

#3 If you do not posses "bent" lucite frames measuring
8x10 and 4x6 then order them today.

#4
Order a pendant of Chen-re-zig {the Buddha of Compassion} as it could
prove useful during certain meditations when you will learn how to
relax into spontaneous awareness.

#5 Order both of these books:

#6 Order a Mala {
Buddhist rosary}and a set of Counters:

#7 If you sit on the floor when you do your homework {
meditation} you may wish to use a text
table, but it certainly is
NOT mandatory.

#8 I urge you to sit on a blanket. You will sweat, and it's good to wash the blanket weekly. So an
optional purchase could be a blanket and a yoga mat if you do not yet posses one:
I have found that Men tend to have
thicker fingers; so I recommend a
bigger mala.
Women often have thinner fingers,
and as such, many prefer a
smaller mala.
I urge each of my students to
buy
counters, which can be
looped over their malas with
a
lanyard hitch.
108 Bodhi seed beads 12mm,
with metal rings and turquoise
spacers.
108 Rosewood beads 9mm,
with metal rings and turquoise
spacers
Gold color brass, with bell
and dorje
Heed my words and mind them well,
your teacher was born to make you great.
His only intention is to set you up
for every success.

Although his advice could seem inconvenient,
it will empower your journey
in the most wonderful way.
